.:Basic Zoids Terms:.

1. Guardian Force - A joint military agreement between the Republic and the Empire.

2. Zoids Core - The life force of a zoid, without this a zoid would just be a useless hunk of metal.

3. Zoid Eve - The creature that gives the life power to the zoid core, it originated all zoids.

4. Organoid - A small zoid you could say. It has the abilities to revive a zoid and make it much more powerful by improving its fighting abilities by a large amount.

5. Ancient Zoidian - Some of the first people on Planet Zi. They created the mighty Death Saurer.

6. Anti-Zoid Guidance Missiles - These are specially outfitted missiles specifically designed for taking out zoids really fast.

7. Memory Bank - This is the place on a zoid where all the combat data (the brains of the zoid) is stored. It is usually located on the head/neck.

8. CPG - This acronym stands for Charged Particle Gun. This is the most powerful weapon on Planet Zi.

9. AI - This stands for Artificial Intelligence. Thomas Schubaltz has an AI named Beke.

10. ZG - This stands for Zoids Gojulas.

11. Organoid System - A system where an organoid permanently bonded with the zoid core and gave the zoid a personality and extra abilities.

12. ZOS - This stands for Zoids Overload System. This is a device discovered by Dr. T (from the GBA game Zoids Legacy) used to control Time & Space.

13. Anti-Charged Particle Blades - These blades come standard with the Blade Liger zoid. They have the ability to withstand and reflect charged particles

14. Laser Blades - These are blades similar to the anti-charged particle blades except for the fact that they are easily broken (to a certain extent) and cannot deflect charged particles. They are just blades with laser energy.

15. Rare Hertz - This is a strange pulse believed to be released by the Zoid Eve. It causes a zoid to loose control of itself and have a combat system freeze. Organoids have a different reaction to the Rare Hertz. They go berserk unless they get out of that area very quickly.

16. Pulse Guard - This is a devise that can protect a zoid from the Rare Hertz. It is not used by organoids.

17. Triple S or SSS - This stands for Storm Sworder Stealth. This is the improved version of the standard Storm Sworder and with the installation of the command options can easily avoid combat and contact with the enemy carrying out any mission it is faced with.

1. HP - Health level (listed as current health / max health) - A ZOIDS is destroyed when its HP reaches 0

2. EP - Current energy level - Most weapons require EP in order to operate. You will start each battle with EP at half of its maximum level

3. GEP - Energy regeneration rate - Amount of EP gained at the beginning of each turn during a battle

4. SP - Base Speed - Affects overall speed and evasion rate

5. MM - Mobility - Affects evasion rate

6. IV - Initiative Velocity - IV = SP + SR. Affects ZOIDS battle order: the most agile ZOIDS go first

7. DF - Defense level - Affects how much damage a ZOIDS will receive. A higher value means it will receive less overall damage when hit

8. AM - Armor level - Affects chances of receiving a direct hit. A direct hit may cause a ZOIDS to freeze for one or more turns

9. DCP - Damage durability - Affects suspectability to temporarily freezing when a ZOIDS receives a direct hit

10. SR - Sensor accuracy (ability to locate opponents on the battlefield) - Affects evasion rate

11. CLV - Character level (LVL) required - If the pilot does not have an equal or greater pilot lever, the ZOIDS performance will be limited

12. TP - Degree of training - A well-trained ZOIDS will perform better in battle

13. CP - Weapon weight restriction - Maximum weight. If the total weight of a ZOIDS exeeds its CP, performance will be limited

14. Size - ZOIDS size - May affect where a ZOIDS can be placed in a battle formation (XL ZOIDS must be placed in the middle row)

15. HP - ZOIDS health correction factor - Improves the health of the pilot's ZOIDS

16. MM - ZOIDS mobility correction factor - Improves the mobility of the pilot's ZOIDS

17. DCP - Pilot defense correction factor - Affects the pilot's durability when his or her ZOIDS receives damage

18. SR - ZOIDS sensor correction factor - Affects the pilot's ability to spot people and objects

19. HR - Weapon accuracy correction factor - Affects the pilot's shooting weapon accuracy

20. LVL - Current pilot level - A pilot's overall experience level

21. EXP - Current pilot experience points - Pilots earn experience points by winning battles

22. NEXT - Experience points needed to advance to the next level - Pilots receive an increase to max HP, max EP and more each time they gain a level

23. Organoid - Listed if there is an Organoid accompanying the pilot - Organoids can enhance max HP, max EP, and also activate ZOS (ZOS enables multiple attacks)
